The 起点传媒 would like to wish a wonderful retirement for two long-time SCSD educators, Mr. Robert Rose and Mr. Michael Aleci!
Rose was in the district for 29 years and has held the titles of Athletic Trainer, Health and Physical Education Teacher, Assistant Principal and finally, Principal of High School East.
“Coming to work in Smithtown was one of the best things that has ever happened to me,” Rose told us. “This is a great community and I've been able to meet and get to know so many wonderful students, colleagues, parents, friends and community members.”
Aleci had been in the district for 31 years. He served as a high school Business teacher for 13 years and was an Assistant Principal at High School East for eighteen years. Aleci also coached soccer for thirteen years as well!
"I would just like to thank Smithtown for the wonderful opportunity to teach, coach, and work with so many amazing students, families, teachers, and staff for more than thirty years,” Aleci said. “This district, and specifically, the high schools, have provided me and my family a lifetime of unforgettable experiences and memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you, Smithtown!"
